Hi Tony … a really great adventure. I envy you. Having grown up in the Swiss Alps (HB9CSI) mountains are not new to me. Unfortunately, now I’m just a bit too old … I will follow your page closely.

  2. Heinz, Nan & I are really excited about the Patagonian Trip. Have 90% of the planning done. We are heading to France end of this month for a few weeks (taking the KX3) & really needed to get things sorted as it will be the end of peak season there. Allen VK3ARH & I are hoping to activate Mt. Bogong in October which will also be fun.
    Cheers, Tony

    • Hi Tony. Good to read about your travels and activities. I’m certain you and Nan will enjoy a rewarding time over in Europe and later in Patagonia. Mount Bogong as well as the surrounding mountains I remember very well. In the early 70’s I lived in Melbourne and we spent many weekends in the Snowies. No SOTA in those years! By the end of September I will move into a new QTH. High time to put up some decent antennas.
      73, Heinz
